Following several previous meetings to gauge public opinion over planning applications for windfarms in the area, Lembit Öpik, Liberal Democrat MP for Montgomeryshire, has today announced four more meetings to give those who have not yet had the opportunity to discuss the issue with key figures in the decision making process.
The meetings will take place at the beginning of April, in Dolfor, Kerry, Cefn Coch, and Meifod.
Commenting on the meetings so far, Lembit said:
"The meetings have generated vigorous and sometimes heated debate. It has been extremely useful to hear from all sides on this issue, and I hope that everyone feels that they have been equally listened to.
"These future meetings will provide further opportunity for those who would like to contribute to the debate to do so. I look forward to seeing a good number of people at these meetings again."
