Walk for Life - Newtown 2009

Mick Bates AM for Montgomeryshire was pleased to present certificates to the children at Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd and Hafren Schools who took part in the Newtown Walk for Life on 29th March.

Commenting Mick Bates stated:

"Local support for the Newtown Walk for Life was fantastic. We raised well over one thousand pounds of which over £500 was raised by pupils at Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd.

"It will be a privilege to present the children with certificates and to thank them personally for caring enough to take part. They should all be very proud of themselves!"
